I am an actor, comedian, mime artist and clown. I started performing in Berlin back in May 1982 and since then I have been making people laugh all over Europe and a large part of the rest of the World.
I was born on July 24th, 1961 in the City of Genova, Italy. My dream as a child was to travel all over the World and to know all kind of different people, Countries and cultures. At the age of eighteen I've decided that I was not going to become an optician like my father, so I quit the study and started to play music in the street. Acoustic guitar with armonica and kazoo was my “one man band” equipment. I traveled Italy and Europe as a street musician for about two years, ending up in Berlin, where I lived for five years.
In Berlin I started to play in music clubs and restaurants but I was not happy with what I was doing. The music I really love is jazz and I was not able to play any jazz on my guitar. I went to a circus school to learn mime and pantomime...but after four lessons I was bored. Classic mime was not really my thing. So I “signed up” at the very best possible school: the street! Day by day, with the enthusiasm of my 20 years of age, I developed an original and personal style of street performing, combining mime elements with classic clown routines and lots of improvisation. I created as well an indoor show for the winter season, which I presented in small cafe-theater, alternative clubs and anywhere there was the possibility.
In 1984 I traveled to Amsterdam to attend the famous Festival of Fools to get inspiration. During the festival I performed in the streets and Jango Edwards noticed me. I was invited at his office and I signed with him my very first contract for the Festival of Fools on tour, which was held in Athens in 1985.

After that first contract it started an amazing adventure which made me travel the World and perform successfully in the best theatre festivals, variety's, theaters, circus, TV shows, cruise ships, comedy clubs, gala's, corporate meetings and all possible and impossible kind of events in the following Countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Cuba, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Korea, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Colombia, Montecarlo, Norway, Poland, Scotland, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Arabs Emirates, United States of America, Wales, Latvia, Czech Republic, Greenland ...and the dream still goes on!
I am primarily a “solo performer” but occasionally I work with other actors and comedians for special projects. I am basically a mime artist but I do like to speak! In facts, my shows can be done in a perfectly fluent English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish and Italian of course. Everything I do it can be consider a “visual act” therefore it's not really important to understand the verbal part, which is mostly improvised and different every time. I like to be the Master of Ceremony for cultural or commercial events, a role which I have been doing with great success along the years.
